COVID-19

We hope you are keeping well.

As of January 2021 COVID is continuing to have an impact on the global delivery networks - which have been under increased strain since Black Friday 2020, and throughout the holiday season.

Every order which we send out has a tracking number, which is provided when your order is dispatched with a link to the tracking website.

Please be aware that currently many carriers around the globe are reporting inaccurate information, or are not updating tracking in real time, and this is an industry wide problem.

We have been assured that this doesn't mean the packages are lost - it is just that in many countries there is a backlog of international mail to be sorted, both inbound and outbound.

Below is some more specific information by territory:

USA:

Some of our catalogue ships from USA.

Shipping carriers in North America are still tackling the large number of incoming orders, and millions of shipments are stuck in distribution centres, leading to industry-wide shipping delays. The lead times are slowly coming down, but we are seeing up to a 4-5 week delay from the figures that we are being provided when we process the orders. 

UK:

Due to additional customs checks with the departure from the EU, recent lockdown/grounded flights and the ongoing COVID situation - the UK has an increased backlog of mail. Orders are arriving, but there are long delays, with tracking often not updating in real time.

 

Europe:

Much of our catalogue ships out from Europe, and as such - mainland deliveries are mostly being delivered within 2-4weeks. 

Many countries have implemented special measures to combat the spread of Coronavirus COVID-19, especially at the borders. Unless otherwise specified, the delivery will be made using the national mail infrastructure, so it is best to check your national website to understand the delays. or you can contact us. 

 

Rest of the World:

Delivery efficiency is variable in the rest of the world - and is changing daily in line with local COVID responses, and requirements. If you have an order that is outside of the other regions mentioned above, please check your country's national carriers for post updates, or you can contact us and we will try to help

 

Tracking:

At the moment, tracking links take longer than usual to update, with shipments being stuck in "pre-transit". Sometimes the tracking info won't change for over a week until the item is scanned by the carrier, or even up to the point of delivery. This doesn't mean that your order is lost, but that it's still being processed by the carrier—the overload of shipments means shipping carriers are slower to register and ship your orders from their distribution centres. We are hopeful that this should start to improve, now that most of the seasonal mail has been sent.

 

Vinyl Delays: 

Vinyl manufacture has been heavily impacted by COVID-19 throughout 2020 and this continues into 2021. We had expected the releases to get caught back up in Q4 of 2020, but unfortunately more restrictions came into force, which further delayed manufacture. 

As such - we know that many of you are eagerly waiting for your pre-orders of the latest releases. As soon as we have these in stock, we will be shipping the orders out. If for any reason you would prefer not to wait, please contact us with your order number, name and first line of the address to confirm your identity - and we can offer you a full refund.

/COVID-19 - 2020 Merchandise Update.

First of all - We hope you are safe and well.

We are still operating our store and delivering Drumcode Merchandise to you during this time - however as the global delivery networks are under increased pressure, orders are taking longer than usual to process and deliver.

Safety for our team, and our fans is our number 1 priority, but these additional precautions have an impact on the speed at which we can operate, as it is also having an effect on the global delivery networks.

 

FAQ:

Where is my order?

If you already placed an order with us, you will have received an order confirmation e-mail. 

You will receive a second e-mail from us when your order has been processed and dispatched.

Depending on locations, and your delivery type - this may or may not contain a tracking number.

What is the expected delivery time?

As we ship different products from different locations, to different locations around the world, it's hard to give an exact time, but we are expecting deliveries to take anywhere between 2-3 days, and 7 weeks. We are actively trying to bring this down as fast as possible.

What are we doing differently?

We are following advice from WHO, CDC, and relevant local and international governments on best practices. This means we are operating with reduced staff on any shift, maintaining minimum distances of 6 feet between each other as they work. Everyone who can work from home - is working from home. 

Staff are provided with PPE and break areas also have sections to maintain safe distances.

Work areas are also being sanitised regularly, in accordance with Government advice.
